I'd like to buy a stability ball to enhance my workouts. How do I buy the correct size?
Before beginning an exercise routine with a stability ball, it is important to select the correct sized ball. Ball size varies based on a person's height:
- For children ages 1 to 2, a 30-centimeter ball should be selected.
- For people shorter than 5 feet, use a 45-centimeter ball.
- For people between 5 feet and 5 feet 7 inches tall, use a 55-centimeter ball.
- For people between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet 3 inches tall, use a 65-centimeter ball.
- For people taller than 6 feet 3 inches, use a 75-centimeter ball.
